Good location, good prices. It was under renovation and the only reason for the 3 stars were due to the construction workers leaving a mess everywhere. I feel a good owner/manager would have higher expectations or be prepared as the common spaces and entrance had garbage and cardboard everywhere even after hours. I have stayed here before and normally it is a very good spot.

Worst night I have ever experienced. Barking dog all night, car alarms every 45 minutes. Room heater incredibly loud. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Couldn’t find or get response from front desk for some time - they should always be available!

Terrible customer service. 2 carpets at entrance state "Making you happy makes us happy" Spend weekend with hockey team. Block booking. Son broke his wrist months prior wasn't sure if we could attend. Missed group booking by one day. Charges $199 per night while entire team paid $139. Alerted front desk staff, emailed manager Cassy Beaudry - no response. Will not be returning. Shame on you Hampton. Spend a little time training your staff and standing by you statement.

I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting North Bay for a friend's wedding. To say it bluntly- I did not enjoy my experience. After the front desk took full payment, I was quickly informed that cleaning service would not be available during my 3 night stay. This would've been nice to know prior to accepting almost $800 payment. I was disgusted when I entered the room to find something that looked like a small spot of blood or dirt stain on the toilet bowl. On my last day, check out was at 12 pm, and cleaning staff entered my room at 10:15 am- (without permission). I was so annoyed that I decided to check out early. I'm not impressed.

As far as hotels go, this one is pretty good. The young lady at check in was particularly good and made us feel welcomed and was also helpful re: where we could eat. The rooms were clean and tidy. The location is good as it is a quiet spot. …

Perfectly situated close to lots of amenities. The place is very clean and well kept. The staff are friendly and accommodating with genuine smiles all around. Will stay again.

The hotel is dated. The 2 rooms we booked were dirty. One smelled like smoke and the other had poop on the toilet bowl and a pillow that looked like a bandage left over from the civil war it wS so dirty. For what they charge for a room per night, get some new pillows. The location was good with lots of food options close by.
